1. Leash and collar (approximately 10”)

2. Blanket or towel---we use this to transfer the scent of mom and littermates which comforts the puppy in adjusting to a new atmosphere

3. Cleaning supplies for the car ride home (in case of car sickness)

4. If you wish, a travel crate for the car ride home. If shipping is desired, please contact us so we can get additional information.

5. We accept cash, Venmo, or CashApp. Payment must be made in full before picking up your puppy. 

 

Items to Have at Home:

1. Food---The puppy is already acclimated to Purina Pro Plan Sport (Purple Bag). We will provide you with a sample bag to take home which you can use to mix with the food of your choice or you can keep them on the same brand. We keep the bowl full all day as puppies will not overeat. Moistening the food with some water is also helpful as the puppy grows. As the puppy gets older, feed twice a day two cups each time.

2. Treats for puppy training. We recommend soft treats. Some favorites are peanut butter and cheese.

3. Bowls for food and water. The puppies are acclimated to saucer dishes so we recommend using dishes that are close to ground level and not raised up.

4. A blanket, pillow, or dog bed for the puppy to sleep on.

5. Crate---We highly recommend crate training. This training is very beneficial, and will also be very helpful with house training.

6. Toys---We recommend de-stuffed toys such as teething bones, Kong toys, and occasionally a Rawhide bone.

7. Grooming supplies---The puppies thus far have been washed with gentle oatmeal shampoo. You can use whatever you wish, however stop using it if the puppy has a reaction. We also recommend coconut oil shampoo. A pin brush is a great starter brush. For Dobermans, a slicker brush or a grooming glove works great.

8. If desired, a puppy training program---We breed high quality dogs, but it is now your responsibility to train and raise your puppy into a well-behaved dog.

9. NuVet Vitamins---We highly recommend these vitamins for the growth and development of the puppy’s bones, joints, and immune system throughout the first year of life, especially. NuVet also has vitamins available for older dogs and even cats!
